The age-out clock
Foreign aircraft authorized before December 22, 2025 keep receiving updates through at least January 1, 2029. From today's edition date that is the window in which every agency flying a foreign fleet must budget, buy, and train on a replacement, or accept aircraft that stop receiving security patches. Agencies that plan now buy on their own schedule; agencies that wait buy in a queue.
