Grants

Grants that fund drone programs, segment by segment.

Most drone programs in small agencies, schools, and farms are grant-funded. These guides name the programs, say what they pay for, and note the one condition they all share now: the aircraft has to be compliant.

The condition every program now shares

Federal funds have not been able to buy covered foreign-made drones since December 22, 2025, when the FCC added all foreign-produced drones and critical components to its Covered List. A grant that would have bought a DJI fleet in 2024 buys a compliant fleet in 2026. EnCor aircraft are designed and built in Tulsa, Oklahoma, without Section 889 covered components, at published prices. That is what a grant budget line needs: a number and a compliance statement.

Finding the open cycle

Program cycles move every year. Rather than a grant search site, use Quillify to find the open opportunity for your agency or institution and to prepare the application; the funder links on each guide take you to the program itself.

What a grant budget line looks like

A Corvin complete kit is $2,999. Grant reviewers see a line item with a published price, a written component-origin statement, and a vendor in the United States. If a program requires a Blue UAS listing specifically, EnCor does not hold one and will say so; most public safety and education programs require NDAA compliance, not the list.

Questions buyers ask

Can federal grant money buy a DJI drone?

No. Since December 22, 2025, federal funds cannot buy covered foreign-made drones, and new foreign models cannot receive FCC authorization. Grant-funded aircraft have to be compliant.

Does EnCor write grants?

No. We supply the aircraft, the published prices, and a written component-origin statement for the file. For finding the open cycle and preparing the application, use Quillify at quillify.ai. These pages tell you which programs exist so the conversation starts in the right place.

Are these grants open right now?

Some are, some run on annual cycles. Each page states the cycle as of the date shown and links to the program office. Check the office before you plan around a date.
