Who this is for

National Guard small-UAS and FPV courses. College and CTE programs teaching unmanned systems. Part 107 schools. Civil Air Patrol wings. Museum and youth programs. Anyone whose job is to put a class through a course and reorder before the next one.

One Guard buyer summed up the requirement as two questions: does it fly, and can I stuff it in my backpack. The Corvin is built to answer yes to both.

What a course actually needs

  • A price the training budget can approve. $2,999 buys a complete kit: airframe, handheld FPV monitor, and remote controller. The airframe alone is $1,799 when you already own the ground kit.
  • Repairs students can do. Detachable arms swap in about three minutes with hand tools. Frame parts are 3D printed in ABS, and a program with a printer can produce its own.
  • Compliance that does not need a lawyer. No Section 889 covered components. Designed and built in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Eligible for federally funded purchases.
  • A kit, not a platform. Attach what you need after the fact: goggles at $1,000, a camera gimbal at $500, spare 6S packs at $250.
  • Direct support. One US point of contact for configuration, parts, and warranty. Not a reseller.

Cost per trained pilot

The number a course director defends is not the price of one aircraft. It is what it costs to graduate a pilot. Here is the arithmetic for a five-aircraft fleet running twenty students per course, with an assumption of one arm and one battery lost per student. Change the assumptions to match your crash rate.

Printed spares change the second-year number more than anything else. A program that prints its own arms replaces a purchase order with a print job.

What the Corvin is not

It is not a dock-based responder aircraft, and it is not a long-endurance mapping platform. Flight time is up to 22 minutes and payload is up to 1.5 pounds. It is a 5-inch class trainer and reconnaissance aircraft, built to be flown hard. For persistent inspection and response, see the Spector, now in development.

Questions buyers ask

What does a training fleet of five Corvins cost?

Five complete kits at $2,999 each come to $14,995. Add spare batteries at $250 and a conversion kit at $1,800 for the full-size arm and motor set. Every price is on the pricing page.

How fast can a student swap a broken arm?

Arms detach. In demonstrations a swap takes about three minutes with basic hand tools. Arms and other structural parts are 3D printable in ABS, so a program with a printer can keep its own spares.

Is the Corvin NDAA-compliant for a federally funded course?

Every Corvin is built in Tulsa, Oklahoma, without Section 889 covered components or telecommunications. Check your funding source for any additional approved-list requirement; EnCor does not claim a Blue UAS listing.

Can we buy on a purchase card without an RFP?

A Corvin complete kit is $2,999. Three kits with spares stay under the $10,000 federal micro-purchase threshold. Your agency's own card limits apply.

What is the lead time?

Corvins are built to order in Tulsa. The current lead time is 3 months. Tell us your course start date and we will tell you whether it can be met.

Do you offer instruction or a curriculum?

EnCor provides configuration and warranty support directly. Ask about training support in a capabilities briefing; we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot provide today.
