Replacing DJI ยท By model

Replacing a DJI Mini, Mavic, or Matrice.

A replacement is matched to a job, not to a spec sheet. Here is what each DJI aircraft was doing for its owner, which EnCor aircraft does that job, at what price, and where we do not have an answer yet.

How to use this table

Write down what each aircraft actually did last year, not what it could do. Most agency and classroom Minis and Mavics did the quick-look and training jobs, which the Corvin does today at a published price. The thermal and zoom jobs belong to the Spector when it ships, and there is no shame in keeping a Matrice flying until then; it is legal and updated through at least January 1, 2029.

Questions buyers ask

Which EnCor aircraft replaces a DJI Mini?

The Corvin complete kit at $2,999 for the quick-look and training jobs a Mini did in an agency or a classroom. It is larger and heavier than a Mini, flies up to 22 minutes, and is built to be repaired rather than pocketed.

Which replaces a Mavic?

For the look-at-the-scene jobs, the Corvin. For the camera-first jobs that used the Mavic's integrated zoom, nothing small and US-built matches it at its old price today, and we say so rather than pretend. The Spector, in development, is the camera-first answer.

Which replaces a Matrice?

The Spector: dock-capable, thermal and zoom optics, multi-sensor payload, in development at a published $34,999 bundle price with reservations open. Until it ships, a Matrice mission needs either the Matrice or a premium US aircraft at a reported $16,000 to $25,000.

Which replaces an Agras spray drone?

None of ours. EnCor does not build spray aircraft.

Which replaces a fixed-wing mapping aircraft?

The Ranger, a fixed-wing VTOL for large acreage and long right-of-way runs, in development at a published $22,000 bundle price.
